Who We Are
-
We are dedicated to helping every person we encounter build a life they are proud of. This extends to our clients and to the clinicians on our team. We don't define a meaningful life by what can be written on a resume, added up, or performed for someone else. We believe a meaningful life is filled with authentic connection, purpose, and opportunities for growth.
We are committed to providing excellent care that prioritizes the needs of every client and fosters genuine growth and insight. Excellent care means striving to be the most competent and prepared we can be for our clients, and using evidence-based approaches that meet a high clinical standard.
We deeply value relationships with our clients and on our team. To be known and accepted for who you are is the foundation of the therapeutic relationship and the primary source of change in therapy. Connection will always be a priority in our practice.
We are proud to serve clients of all backgrounds, orientations, identities, and belief systems. Our practice is a space where every person is welcomed, respected, and treated with dignity.
Our mission is to cultivate a practice where clients and clinicians can grow, delivering care that leads to a life every person can be proud to call their own.

We approach every client at Horizons with care, curiosity, and the belief we are all capable of meaningful change. We believe counseling is relational and clinical, and that both should be equally prioritized. This means you will be valued as an individual, and we will take the time to understand your unique history, strengths, and goals for counseling. We use evidence-based techniques to provide care that is clinically grounded and individually tailored. We don't believe in one-size-fits-all therapy, and we want you to feel that your care matters.
We take a trauma-informed approach with all clients, recognizing that our past experiences often shape our present patterns. We bring patience, compassion, and clinical skill to each session so that we can build trust and find what works for you.
It's important to us that our work together is purposeful without compromising your experience. Counseling can be difficult work, and we respect what you're going through while also prioritizing your growth. We don't believe one has to be sacrificed for the other.
We are intentional about helping you achieve meaningful results from counseling. While talking is a component of therapy, we don't want you to feel you're just coming to talk. We deeply respect your time and commitment at Horizons and are dedicated to providing a service that is beneficial to your life. We take each client's personalized goals seriously, and we want you to feel that in every session.
No matter what brings you to Horizons, our clinicians bring the same commitment to every session: to show up fully, work skillfully, and walk with you toward meaningful, lasting change.
-
Authenticity. We show up as genuine people, not just professional titles, and we invite you to do the same. We bring honesty into every client relationship, offering genuine feedback, realistic expectations, and a space where you never have to pretend.
Connection. We view relationships and connection as fundamental to healthy human experience and something that should never be compromised. Connection is the vessel that allows for safe exploration, growth, healing, and change. Whether between clinician and client or among colleagues, we hold connection as something to be protected and prioritized.
Collaboration. Healing and growth are not things we do to you, rather they are things we do with you. Your goals, your pace, and your story shape how we work together. We embrace a spirit of collaboration throughout our practice. Our clinicians consult with one another, share insight, and support each other's growth, because we believe good care is never built in isolation.
Growth mindset. We believe in the capacity of every person to move through hard things and build something stronger on the other side. We are constantly striving to improve ourselves as individuals, clinicians, and team members to ensure we can show up fully and competently for every client we serve.
Curiosity. We approach life with curiosity rather than judgment, and we believe humor is one of curiosity's most honest expressions. Growth is serious work, but it isn't diminished by lightness, and we've found that genuine connection often includes room to laugh, even in the midst of difficult work.

Co-Founder
Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern
I work with individuals, couples, and organizations who are navigating PTSD, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, depression, and the ongoing demands of high-stress and high-performance environments. Many of the people I work with are veterans, first responders, frontline workers and athletes—individuals who are often highly capable and driven, yet carrying a great deal of responsibility, pressure, or unresolved experiences. My goal is to help clients not only manage symptoms, but also build resilience, clarity, and confidence so they can function well and feel more connected in their personal and professional lives.
In our work together, I use evidence-based approaches, including EMDR, to help clients process difficult experiences, reduce the impact of trauma and stress, and develop practical tools for emotional regulation, focus, and performance. Whether we are working on healing past experiences, strengthening relationships, navigating life transitions, or enhancing performance under pressure, therapy and coaching are collaborative and tailored to each client’s goals.
As a veteran, I bring a deep understanding of military culture and the unique challenges faced by service members, first responders, and others working in service-oriented or high-risk roles. I am passionate about continuing to serve these communities and creating a supportive, grounding space where clients feel understood, respected, and empowered to move forward with purpose, connection, and confidence.
I am supervised by Ashley Waithe, LMHC-S.

Co-Founder
Licensed Mental Health Counselor
I provide individual therapy for adults, students and adolescents navigating difficulties such as trauma, anxiety, academic issues and life transitions, chronic illness, and relational distress. My clients are defined by so much more than their diagnoses, yet they often feel overwhelmed by them and stuck in patterns that feel too big to face alone. Many are seeking someone to come alongside them as they confront these challenges and begin to reconnect with themselves.
My goal is to create a safe, compassionate space where you feel seen and supported as you explore your experiences and decide how you want to move forward. I believe therapy works best when it feels collaborative, appropriately challenging, and rooted in an authentic connection that allows you to grow in understanding. Together, we will work to process difficult emotions, strengthen coping and problem-solving skills, and build healthier relationships. I want clients to feel grounded, resilient, and able to live lives they are proud of.
I use a person-centered and trauma-informed approach tailored to each client’s unique needs. My work is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR therapy, and humanistic modalities, integrating insight, skill-building, and emotional processing. While therapeutic tools and psychoeducation are important, I believe the relationship we build and the therapeutic process itself is the impetus for lasting change.
In addition to clinical work, I am a qualified supervisor for mental health interns and enjoy supporting developing clinicians as they grow in their professional identities.

Therapy is a personal approach that can go at the pace you need it to! However, for best results we recommend starting at weekly or biweekly sessions, and then continuing to evaluate the frequency as you go with your therapist.

We offer in-person sessions at our office space or secure telehealth sessions you can attend from your preferred location. We do require you have a safe, private location to accommodate telehealth so that we can ensure your confidentiality. Just let your therapist know what you prefer!

The length of therapy varies depending on your goals, needs, and the challenges you’re working through. Some people notice meaningful changes within a few sessions, while others benefit from ongoing support to navigate more complex or persistent concerns.
